Election 2020! Policy NZ resources for schools

ASSEN has partnered with the team at Policy NZ to create some short learning resources based on some of the key social issues that New Zealanders are considering as they head to the polls for Election 2020. Now that they election date has been pushed back a month to October 17, you'll have even more time to engage with students about how different policies will impact their lives, their whānau and their communities.

Don't overlook the information about the Policy competition. They are offering range of great prizes for individuals, groups, and classrooms. Students’ ideas will be judged a panel including NBA basketballer Steven Adams, journalists and broadcaster Mihi Forbes, Professor of Public Policy and former MP Marilyn Waring, science educator Michelle Dickinson (‘Nanogirl’), and Allbirds CEO and former All White Tim Brown.
